Instructions for Use
Donning by Hand
- It is recommended to put on the hosiery in the morning. Ensure nails are neatly trimmed and rings are removed.
- Put on the product while sitting on a bed, sofa, or similar surface. The leg should be bent at the knee.
- Make sure the product is turned to the correct (outer) side.
- Insert your hand to the heel area, grasp the heel from the inside, and turn the product inside out only up to the heel, then straighten it.
- Insert both thumbs into the turned part of the product and stretch it as wide as possible to the sides.
- Pull the heel section over the foot, align it with the heel, and fix it in position by placing weight on the heel.
- At the mid-foot level, form a small fold in the product, grasp it firmly on both sides, move it toward the instep, stretch widely, and pull it around the heel up to the ankle level. Straighten the edge.
- Then gradually (in sections of about 5 cm) pull and smooth the product upward, removing wrinkles. Ensure the heel section is correctly positioned. If it has shifted, adjust and fix it properly.
Donning with a Butler (Donning Aid)
- Place the butler on the floor in front of you with the arch facing toward you.
- Hold the stocking with both hands, ensuring the heel is facing you.
- Stretch the product over the butler up to the heel section.
- Insert your foot into the product so that it rests on the floor.
- Pull the butler upward by the handles to knee level.
- Remove the butler.
- Distribute the product evenly along the leg.
- Smooth the product by hand along its entire length to remove any folds.
Removing the Product
- Grasp the upper part of the product and gradually turn it inside out, pulling it down to the knee, then to the ankle, and finally to the toes.
- Do not pull on the silicone band; always grip the knitted part of the product.
Important Notes
- For all types of products: if the hosiery is not sufficiently stretched along the leg, do not pull it upward by the top edge. Lower it and stretch it again gradually with stronger tension. Wearing gloves is recommended.
- For knee-high stockings: do not pull them above the kneecap.
- For stockings with a silicone band: do not apply creams or ointments to the area of the leg where the silicone band adheres.
- For tights and men’s compression hosiery: if the compression section is not properly stretched, never attempt to pull it up using the “pant” section, as this may damage seams and cause runs.
⚠ WARNING
Do not cut off thread ends or labels, as this may cause the knots formed during manufacturing to unravel.
