Foot drop support Barry 19001

Barry 19001 foot drop support featuring a lightweight calf base and a full-length 90° foot pad. The base and substrate are made of medical grade plastic. The toe part of the substrate is raised to create an artificial roll.

The orthosis is fixed on the leg with Velcro straps and is equipped with removable ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) cushioning inserts that provide comfort during wearing.

The product unloads the articular surfaces and stabilizes the capsular-ligamentous apparatus, eliminates sagging of the foot and restores disturbed walking biomechanics. It is easy to care for and comfortable to put on and wear.

Indications

• “drooping foot” (paralytic deformities of the feet of various etiologies: peroneal nerve damage, spinal cord injuries, stroke (stroke), neuroinfections, cerebral palsy, and others);

• long-term rehabilitation period after damage to the calcaneal (Achilles) tendon.
