Stair lift caterpillar for the disabled people

Stair caterpillar lift "BK S100" is an autonomous technical means of social rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The lift is intended for climbing stairs by a person in a wheelchair while operating the lift by a person accompanying the user. Daily use of the lift is only permitted if all safety devices and parts are working correctly.

The stair lift for the disabled is designed to overcome flights of stairs in the entrances of apartment buildings, in private houses, in educational, medical and other public institutions, by people in wheelchairs (with the help of an accompanying person).

The lift can be used for most wheelchairs currently in use.

Specifications:

• The lift is intended for use inside buildings and only on flat, solid surfaces.

• Use the lift only on straight stairs, with a level intermediate platform sufficient for turning around. Do not use the lift on wedge or spiral staircases.

• The lift can only be used to carry a passenger in a wheelchair.

• Before using the device on stairs, the lift operator should carefully read the operation manual, practice operating the lift without a passenger

• The slope of the stairs must not exceed 35° (equivalent to a 70% slope). If the angle of inclination of the stairs is unknown, it is necessary to measure the stairs (find out the angle of inclination with a protractor), or find the ratio of the height to the length of the stairs (per 1 m max. 70 cm).
