Wound dressing «Hydrocoll» №1
Description
Hydrocoll is a sterile, self-adhesive, absorbent hydrocolloid wound dressing coated with a gas-permeable, water-repellent film that prevents the penetration of microorganisms.
Functional features
Upon contact with a wound, the hydrocolloid traps the wound exudate, resulting in the formation of a gel that provides a moist environment for healing.
The gel layer prevents the Hydrocoll from sticking to the wound.
The bandage does not irritate granulation or epithelial tissue and causes minimal discomfort to the patient.
The gel remains absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated, which is manifested by the deformation of the bandage in the form of a bubble.
