Adhesive wound dressing «Atrauman Silicone» №1
Atrauman Silicone is a sterile coating for atraumatic wound healing and protection of organs and other sensitive tissues during negative pressure wound healing.
Compound
The wound dressing is a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh coated on both sides with polydimethylsiloxane-based silicone gel.
Properties and mode of operation
Atrauman Silicone is a thin, soft and well-draped wound dressing. It provides good contact with the wound surface and is permeable to exudate. With sterile scissors Atrauman Silicone can be cut according to the size of the wound, its shape and location. Silicone coating is atraumatic and securely fixed on a dry but not wet surface. Due to this, it does not stick to the wound, and the dressing can be removed painlessly.
In addition, the silicone wound dressing protects the patient's organs and other sensitive tissues from ingrowth of the VivanoMed Foam sponge when using the Vivano Negative Pressure Wound Treatment System. Thus, with the Vivano system, negative pressure wound therapy can be performed directly through organs or other sensitive tissues.
The Atrauman Silicone coating is non-absorbent.
When used in conjunction with the Vivano Negative Pressure Wound Treatment System, exudate is drained through the wound dressing and absorbed by the VivanoMed Foam open pore sponge.
