Adhesive wound dressing "Cosmopor E Steril" №1

Cosmopor® E steril is a self-adhesive sterile wound bandage made of a soft non-woven fabric with an absorbent pad that does not adhere to the wound; the adhesive base of the bandage consists of synthetic rubber glue.

Technique overlay: 

·       - Choose a bandage according to the size corresponding to the size of the wound.

·       - Open the individual sterile packaging in the place indicated on the packaging with a blue rounded arrow, pulling the unglued edges of the package.

·       - Remove the bandage from the package.

·       - Remove one piece of protective paper covering, apply a bandage to the wound in such a way that the absorbent pad completely covers the wound, gently press and smooth the  adhesive part of the bandage, not pressing on the wound.

·       - Remove the second part of the protective paper, smooth and press the second part of the bandage onto the skin.

Composition: 

1. Base - non-woven polyester;

2. Adhesive surface - synthetic rubber glue without rosin;

3. Absorbing pads - absorbent viscose;

4. Coverage - polyethylene micro-grid;

5. Protective layer - silicone-treated paper with a mark of the bandage opening.

The wound pad consists of two layers - a layer contacting the wound, and an absorbent layer.

The layer in contact with the wound consists of polyethylene, which prevents adhesion to the wound.

The absorbent layer consists of viscose, which allows the exudate to be absorbed.
