Description:
Lightweight orthosis from thermoformed plastic, supporting the foot in case of insufficient rear flexion.
Indications for use:
Syndrome of "foot drop", insufficient rear flexion in case of paresis paralysis of the anterior group of leg muscles (strokes, lesions of the sciatic and peroneal nerves caused by injuries, blood supply disorders, transferred infections, etc.).
Usage results:
Provides a passive restriction of plantar flexion.
Supports the foot, improves the walking pattern.
Features:
The long sole of the orthоsis increases the controllability of the affected foot.
The orthosis is lightweight and is made of a thin thermoformed plastic.
Covers the shin at the gastrocnemius muscle level: provided with a soft pad inside and fixed with a Velcro fastener.
