The Meridian Oxygen Cushion is designed for short-term oxygen therapy for patients with conditions associated with respiratory insufficiency. The cushion is reusable and can be refilled with oxygen for repeated use.

⚠️ Important: The oxygen cushion is supplied without oxygen.

The oxygen cushion is intended for oxygen delivery in both healthcare facilities and home settings, as recommended by a healthcare professional.

Contraindications

There are no significant contraindications to oxygen therapy. The oxygen cushion should be used only after consulting a healthcare professional.

Instructions for Use

• Before use, disinfect the oxygen mask with a cotton swab moistened with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.

• Connect the mask to the oxygen supply tube.

• Place the mask securely over the patient's nose and mouth.

• Open the flow control clamp.

• Adjust the oxygen flow using the clamp and by gently pressing the corner of the cushion.

• Follow the breathing instructions recommended by your healthcare provider.

• If oxygen remains in the cushion after use, close the clamp.

• Seal the tube with the supplied cap.

Warning

It is recommended to fill the oxygen cushion immediately before use.

Safety Precautions

• Avoid contact of oil or grease with the oxygen cylinder or cushion during filling.

• Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of 10 kPa when filling the cushion.

• Prolonged continuous oxygen therapy should only be carried out under the supervision of a healthcare professional, as it may lead to unwanted complications.
