Hydrocolloid dressing, sterile "Hydrocoll Thin"
Hydrocoll is a self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing with a semi-permeable top layer that prevents the penetration of microorganisms and water; by converting the hydrocolloid parts into a gel, the dressing contributes to the creation of a moist environment in the wound; accelerates the cleansing of the wound, stimulates the process of granulation and epithelialization; without irritating wounds, painlessly removed.
How to use:
Choose the size of the dressing so that it protrudes at least 2 cm beyond the wound edges.
Remove the protective film, apply a bandage to the wound and press down.
Deep wounds and pockets can be additionally packed with Sorbalgon T.
The bandage can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. The signal to change the dressing is a deformity in the form of a bubble that extends beyond the wound.
When changing the Hydrocoll dressing, a layer of hydrocolloid gel will remain on the wound (not to be confused with pus). Flush the wound with Ringer's solution (saline)
